The Nuns Growing And Selling Medicinal Weed Products Have Had Their Online Shop Shut Down

Earlier on this year we reported on a group of Californian nuns who were running a homemade weed operation.

The Sisters of the Valley do everything from growing the stuff to creating weed-infused capsules, salves and medicinal products. Everything was going pretty well for them, with the products bringing in around £28,000 per month. However, now it looks like the sale of their remedies could be put to an end due to the removal of their online store.

The two nuns, Sister Kate and Sister Darcy, who consider themselves nuns despite not being registered to a traditional religion, have been growing the weed in accordance with lunar cycles and producing really useful, healthy and fully organic remedies to treat back pain, migraines and hangovers.

But now Etsy have withdrawn their online shop due to the sisters making health claims about their products. It’s a shame really because it sounds like their products actually do real good. Sister Kate said:

We make CBD oil, which takes away seizures and a million other things.

It’s very high in demand from cancer patients right now. And we make a salve that’s a multi-purpose salve, but we found out it cures migraines, hangovers, earaches, toothaches and diaper rash.

Well all the luck to them – hopefully they can find another platform to sell their medicines.
